The IFC is investigating the development of privately financed wind generation projects in the province of Tete and Nampula in Mozambique. The Project involves selecting and prioritising a shortlist of potential wind sites. J Maynard has been appointed as Financial Advisor and Financial Modeller responsible for estimating energy yields, calculating the levelized cost of energy for six wind farm options, conducting sensitivity checks on cost estimates, assessing the commercial viability of two concept site options, and providing recommendations and considerations for next steps in the development process.
